Great success at Munich's Gallery Weekend - OPEN ART 2022

  • Great success at Munich's Gallery Weekend - OPEN ART 2022

Munich's Gallery Weekend - the Open Art - attracted hundreds of art-loving Munich residents to the best galleries of the Alpine metropolis on the weekend of September 09-11. Among them, of course, the Heitsch Gallery at Gärtnerplatz.

The highlight was the opening of Antonio Marra's exhibition "TikTok is Therapy", which took place as part of Open Art:

The Naples-born artist thrilled art fans with his multi-perspective OP-Art, which - depending on perspective and angle - produced different images each time.

With his taken-up theme, Marra alludes to the current zeitgeist and moves viewers to reflect on its negative as well as positive effects. In doing so, the fast pace of life, the seemingly endless expanse of possibilities, and a performance society that can hardly be satiated are reflected through his multi-perspective facets.

Among the visitors to the Heitsch Gallery this weekend were numerous Munich personalities as well as the Karlsruhe art fair director Ewald Schrade together with his wife Susanne.

Would you like to view Marra's unique works of art and possibly receive advice on a purchase? Then we look forward to your visit. "TikTok is Therapy" is on view at Heitsch Gallery through October 29.
