Batvand uses vintage materials and expose them to the weather conditions, leading to a new appearance and modifying their purpose. Change is a huge content, which is a personal theme for the Iranian-born artist and incorporates her whole oeuvre.

Elger Esser is known for his lyrical photographs which quote the early photographers and recall to landscape paintings from the 19th-century. Esser studied at Bernd Becher and is a representative of the Düsseldorf School of Photography. 2016 he got the Oskar-Schlemmer-Preis, Großer Staatspreis für Bildende Kunst Baden Württemberg.
